Effie Baoutis is an experienced healthcare professional with a demonstrated history of more than 25 years working in health science communications across the globe. Her skills span across functions in marketing and communications with a focus on transformational business leadership and strategic planning.

Effie is currently President of Medical at Avalere Health with a focus on promotional medical marketing for the healthcare industry. In addition, she is a part time lecturer and mentor at the HTW University in Berlin, teaching "Strategic Marketing in Life Sciences" for the MBA in Life Science Management Programme.

Effie holds a Bachelor of Science with majors in Pharmacology and Anatomy from the University of Sydney, Australia and a Masters in Communications from the University of Leicester, UK. She currently lives in Berlin, Germany.
