Prof. Dr. Tetiana Paientko
Tetiana Paientko has over twenty years of experience in the fields of accounting, audit, and finance. She lectures the "Corporate Finance and Controlling" module at the MBA&E Life Science Management Programme.
From 2017 to 2022, she worked as a forensic examiner in accounting and finance, helping to detect and prevent fraud. Since 2018, she has been part of the TESIM team, supporting the implementation of EU cross-border cooperation programs (ENI CBC and Interreg Next) in EU member states and partner countries. Tetiana has taught at Kyiv National Economic University (Ukraine), State Tax University (Ukraine), Humboldt International University (USA), Lodz University (Poland), and Zigurat Global Institute of Technology (Spain). Currently, she is a professor at HTW-Berlin.
Tetiana studied accounting and finance at Kyiv National Economic University (Ukraine) and corporate finance at Maastricht University (The Netherlands). Her doctoral thesis focused on income taxation problems in Ukraine, and her habilitation thesis is about the regulation of financial flows. Her current research interests include corporate finance and financial markets development.
She is a member of the European Accounting Association and the American Finance Association.
